The petition to name a NPC in a Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game after Christina got noticed by Nintendo.

We are aware of the outpouring of support for her, as well as the petition, but we won’t be making any creative or content decisions in this time of mourning.

Their response isn’t definitive yes or no. I believe that this is just a typical PR response. I am sure that Nintendo will contact Grimmie’s family and ask them want to do something about it and I’m sure Nintendo will do the right thing.

The petition has 59,647 of 75,000 supporters at the at the time of writing (6/24/2016)

Some of you might missed the stream of Christina’s memorial service held on June 17, 2016 at Fellowship Alliance Chapel. Fortunately, the service was also recorded and uploaded to YouTube.

Service starts with Christina’s cover of “In Christ Alone“, followed by greeting by church’s pastor Marty Berglund. After that he invited Christina’s cousin Nicky to share his memories about Christina. After that, pastor invited Christina’s aunt, her friends Sarah and Lauren, Christina’s youth pastor Jason George and Marcus. Christina’s parents were next, their speech was really emotional.

Pastor then asked everyone to watch With Love performance from The Voice. The memorial then continued with pastor’s speech until the end.

Dear frands,

there was a candlelight vigil at Christina’s hometown, Marlton. Since most of you probably didn’t have the opportunity to be here, I just wanted to share this video with you.

Speakers including her brother Marcus, Lauren, Sarah, Pete Innaurato shared their memories there.

“Christina was awesome…She loved this town, she loved this state, she loved singing, she loved the Lord and she loved me and she was just my baby sister,”

After the speeches, mourners bowed their head as a bagpiper solemnly performed “Amazing Grace.” The lights were switched off on the field and the crowd bowed their heads in silence as the candles illuminated the night in tribute.
